Friday, September 03 2010 @ 08:28 PM CDT About NRJNewspaper Research Journal is a refereed journal published quarterly that reaches more than 1,000 journalism students, scholars and media professionals in the U.S. and 20 countries.NRJ comprehensively answers questions about U.S. newspaper performance and related topics of interest. Significant themes of research include balance and fairness, the use of computer analysis in newspaper reporting, sourcing, the agenda-setting function of the media, and much more. Newspaper Research Journal is concerned with providing a bridge between journalism scholars and newspaper professionals and a forum for practical research on and discussion of issues of interest to both. The editors welcome manuscripts devoted to research on newspapers from both academics and newspaper professionals. The journal debuted in April of 1979. NRJ still provides readers with the most comprehensive coverage of the nation's most historic medium. We hope the journal aids you in your studies and keeps you at the vanguard of newspaper research.
